In what has been a busy transfer window so far, Barcelona are now ramping up their efforts to finalise sales in order to fall back in line with Financial Fair Play regulations.<\/p>\n

According to fresh reports from\u00a0Mundo Deportivo<\/a>, the Catalans hope to be able to announce the departures of Nico Gonzalez and Alex Collado within the next few days.<\/p>\n

Nico has been heavily\u00a0linked to Porto<\/a>, and according to MD, Porto coach S\u00e9rgio Concei\u00e7\u00e3o has asked the club\u2019s management to move things along and complete the deal as soon as possible to start integrating him in pre-season.<\/p>\n

The agreement with Bar\u00e7a has supposedly taken longer than expected because an acceptable solution regarding a buy-back clause for the 21-year-old\u00a0La Masia<\/em>\u00a0midfielder has not been agreed upon yet, which the Catalans are currently working on.<\/p>\n

The Spanish outlet claim that the sale would be in the range of \u20ac8-10 million, but some sources claim it may touch up to \u20ac15 million, which would be a very lucrative deal for Barcelona.<\/p>\n

In the case of Alex Collado, the agreements are all reportedly complete with Real Betis. However, it also depends on Betis being able to fall in line with FFP regulations before they can sign and register him \u2013 which means they may need to finalise some departures as well.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old winger will join the Andalusians on a free transfer, and will reportedly relinquish half his salary at Barcelona. The contract is reported to be four years with the option to extend for an additional year.<\/p>\n

However, the\u00a0Blaugrana<\/em>\u00a0are also looking to include a sell-on clause in the deal, reserving a percentage of revenue from any future sale, which is yet to be finalised.<\/p>\n

These two sales should help alleviate some more pressure from Barcelona\u2019s wage bill, meaning they take another important step closer to complying with the financial viability plan they presented to La Liga.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
