Barcelona have been rocked by recent reports linking Ousmane Dembele with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, with former coach Luis Enrique reportedly keen on bringing him to the French capital.

Journalist Victor Malo has refused to take the rumour seriously, but he has pointed out that Barcelona may end up freeing up €16.75 million from their salary mass through the potential sale of Dembele.

But more importantly, Malo suggests Barcelona are confident of closing up the sale of at least four more players in the near future.

They are open to selling more, depending on whether or not the club find ideal suitors for these unwanted stars.

The seven players that Barcelona could sell

Barcelona have sanctioned the departures of Nico, Alex Collado and Chadi Riad recently, but the club are now looking to axe more experienced first-team stars including Franck Kessie.

The Ivorian international has been recently linked with a move to Juventus while Tottenham Hotspur have also shown the desire to sign the midfielder.

Other senior players in contention to leave Camp Nou are Clement Lenglet and Sergino Dest. But unlike Kessie, these two have had a more difficult time finding suitors in the market. Barcelona, nevertheless, consider it imperative to get rid of these three.

Apart from them, Barcelona are also open to the sale of Raphinha and Ferran Torres. These two attackers have failed to live up to the expectations, with Ferran, in particular, completely falling out of favour in Xavi’s plans for the season ahead.

Ousmane Dembele is another candidate, though Barça ideally want to keep hold of the Frenchman. They are, in fact, looking to extend the contract of the attacker that expires in 2024.

Eric Garcia completes the list of players facing an uncertain future at Barcelona in this summer transfer window.

Following the arrival of Inigo Martinez, the former Man City starlet is likely to have a hard time finding regular game time. A move away from Camp Nou, therefore, could be on the horizon.
